Reviewing and Evaluating
Reviews are held in accordance with statutory requirements. All appropriate agencies are invited, and the school has ample facilities to hold meetings. Children, parents/carers, staff, local authority and external agencies are all key parts of the process.
All children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities have an internal monitoring record. Regular meetings, including the Team Around the Family (TAF) are held as required to ensure that all needs are being met and progress is made in line or above expectations.
A nominated governor with specialist expertise meets regularly with the Special Educational Needs and Disability Co-Ordinator and reports back to the Governing body. Regular reports are made by the Headteacher in the termly report to Governors. Reviews offer the opportunity to regularly examine and evaluate the effectiveness of our provision.
