Bumped Heads

If a child has a bump to the head during the school day, parents will always receive a text message informing them of the incident.

If the bump is minor your child will be monitored during the remainder of the day, but it is important that you watch for any signs or symptoms in your child which might indicate a more serious injury.

PLEASE WATCH FOR:

  • Unexpected drowsiness
  • Vomiting more than once
  • Any signs of blood or watery fluid coming from the nose or ears
  • Any complaint of ‘seeing double’ or ‘blurred’ eye-sight

If the bump is more serious, parents will always be contacted by telephone.
