If your child is absent for any reason, the school office must be notified via Gateway before 9:15am on the first day of absence. The gateway message must include a reason for your child's absence. 

As Parent/Guardian it is your legal responsibility to ensure that your child attends school regularly or provide proper reason for their absence.  It is our responsibility to record such reasons. Children who have regular poor attendance will be referred to the Local Authority Attendance Team.

Children make the best progress at school through regular and punctual attendance.
