School Gateway

Ormskirk C of E Primary School uses a communication service called School Gateway. The service allows the school to share information with 'Priority 1' parents online via a smartphone app.

Parents are also able to advise the school  of reasons for their child's absence via App messages and notify the school of updates to their child's contact details and medical conditions. You will also be able to make payments via credit and debit card, book meal choices and view lunch balances and give consent for activities such as school trips. Parents also have the ability to view and book Out of School Club sessions and make payments towards any booked sessions.

It saves the school money if parents use the App as it allows the school to send free in App messages which will be useful in the event of school closures, reminders and emergencies. 


To register with the School Gateway either:

Download the app. If you have a smartphone, please download School Gateway from your app store (Android and iPhone).

The app shows the same information as the website PLUS you can send app messages to the school for FREE. When installing the App, please ensure you say YES to allow push notifications, otherwise you will not receive any of the messages.

OR

Visit the website www.schoolgateway.com and click on ‘New User’.

You’ll receive a text message with a PIN number. Use this PIN to login to School Gateway. We’ll notify you by text or email when new items are available for payment.

Note: You will be unable to register until your admission form has been returned and processed.


Can’t activate your account?

If you’re having trouble logging in, it may be because the school doesn’t have your current email and mobile phone number on record. Please call the school and we’ll update the details on our system.
