Working Together
The school has a schools council. Children vote for their representatives on a year group basis. Children in Key Stage Two complete an extensive questionnaire annually. Children are encouraged through SEAL to offer suggestions. The children are asked for their comments on school improvements.
Parents are provided with an annual questionnaire to give views and feedback on the strengths of the school and areas for development. The Governing body use this information extensively for school improvement.
Regular nominations are requested for the Governing Body as positions become available. The school has an active Parent and Friends Association and parents are encouraged to become active in the life of the school. We welcome volunteers to help during the school day.
The school Governor responsible for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities regularly meets with and offers additional specialist advice on supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
The school has home-school agreements signed by all parents/carers.
